RESEARCH

There is no doubt that there is yet more room to explore the very nature of the Africa continent, its people and institutions, resources, security and development, and its role in understanding critical global discources. Much as many have claimed to understand the "African condition" the more we are still puzzled by events on the continent. The Center does not claim that it abhors all works on research on Africa up till this time. Rather, it wants to add to the discussion by introducing a more critical theoretical approcah to understanding the continent's situation. In doing so, the Center focuses on an evidence and result-based research focusing on harnessing current literature with societal and cultural realities. Currently the Center is focused on research in International Development Issues, Human Security/Human Rights, Africa and World Affairs, Intra-Africa Relations, Natural Resource and Conflict Management, Ghana Project/Decmocratic Consolidation, and Institutional Development.
